PHP 7.3.1 Is Now Available

After a long wait, PHP 7.3.1 has finally released on 10th January 2019, and it is the the first bug fixed version since the PHP 7.3 release on last month.

Beside of adding WebP support to the GD imagecreatefromstring(), updated SQLite, an is_countable() function, PHP 7.3.1 also consist of many bug fixes as outlined at PHP.net. And we had released PHP 7.3.1 to all our WordPress hosting plan as well, feel free to upgrade it as steps below:

  1. Login to your Plesk Control Panel
  2. Go to Website & Domains > PHP Settings and select 7.3.1 from PHP support (PHP version)
  3. Run PHP as: Select “FPM application served by nginx”
  4. Apply, you are done!

Don’t forget that you are able to switch the PHP version within 5.6, 7, 7.1, 7.2 and 7.3 in just one click in the control panel, even running different version in live site and staging site.

*Please be noted to have a full backup of your site before upgrading your PHP version.
